Jyväskylä is also called city of lights. The town has over 80 light installations and also won awards for its lightning strategies. Starting from today, the whole weekend happen events and installations around the topic “city of lights“.
I just came home from a small city tour with other students. I have to say, I haven’t noticed all the lights around me before. After this tour I will keep my eyes much more open, when I walk around in the dark. The days are getting shorter and short. Some extra lights are more than welcome! 🙂 It’s really interesting to see what great effects different coloured lights can have. We didn’t do a big walk, the main attraction, which is around Tourujoki-river should be really amazing. I have to check it out this weekend! 🙂
In the beginning of our tour it was still light. The darker it got the better we could admire the lights. It was raining the whole day and most of the walk, so I decided to take my small camera with me. Not the best choice to catch all the pretty lights on pictures, but I think I got some impressions.
